Many organizations are investing in mobile apps to read because of the increase in smartphone and tablet usage. Children can improve their reading skills by using mobile apps for reading. Reading skills are essential as many educational systems consider reading skills one of the most important prerequisites to school success. Reading is an ability that can only be learned and improved over time. It can also be learned through exposure to different media.

These concerns stem primarily from the importance of mobile learning in reading comprehension, particularly in the context of design issues for children. Young children often find it difficult to use mobile learning apps. After a while, they lose interest and find it difficult to retain and understand information from newspapers and books.
